Installing Granite Countertops

Measure the dimensions of the desk and then use those measurements to place the legs so that the top will protrude from the front and back of the legs 2 inches and 6 inches above the legs off point. Remove the legs and use a shovel to dig the indented area to a depth of about 2 inches.

Compress the hole with a tamper. Add the sand as bedding material thickness and compact 3/4 inches with a tamping tool.
